In order to help the international students to know the campus better, experience the detailed work of logistics service and enhance their sense of responsibility and social practice ability, the Faculty of International Education took the opportunity of the First “Logistics Work” Experience Activity to invite more than 10 international freshmen to join it which was organized by Dongwu Service, the Division of Logistics and Infrastructure, the Office of Student Affairs and the Communist Youth League Committee.

On the morning of November 28, 2019, the experience team with the participation of more than 10 international students of our faculty was divided into three subgroups who experienced the work of dormitory management, building services and clean-keeping. The international students together with the building watchman got familiar with the post work and did practical work; they also used clean-keeping equipment and tools to clean the corridor, wipe the corridor mirrors and glass and sweep the fallen leaves on campus together with the cleaners. At the end of the activity, the international students kept a record of their feelings about the logistics management work. The short, plain words of thanks conveyed their gratitude and deeply warmed the heart of the logistics workers.

The activities of “I Work and I Feel Honored” and “Logistics Work” offered the opportunities for the international students to personally participate in the daily logistics management, learn in experience and practice, look at the problems from the perspective of the workers, experience the diligence and devotion of the logistical personnel, enhance communication between logistical personnel and international students and play a positive role in building harmonious campus.
