In order that the international students in our institute could have further understanding of the traditional Chinese festivals and experience their cultural concepts and significance, the Faculty of International Education held the activity themed on “Making Traditional Chinese Rice-pudding in SPIA” in Canteen II of the institute on June 5, 2019, with the participation of the international students from the Republic of Congo and Indonesia, volunteers from New Zealand and Grade 2018 students of the Faculty of International Education majoring in business English, business Japanese, exhibition planning and management etc.

Through the activity, the students learned how to make traditional Chinese rice-pudding, enjoyed mutual help with the foreign students, cemented friendship, stimulated communication and exchanges between different cultures, left deep impressions on them and made them more passionate about their life in SPIA.
