Scholarships are divided into three categories: agreement scholarships, Outstanding Students scholarships and special scholarships.

The scholarship agreement refers to the scholarship which is provided explicitly in the friendship cooperation agreement signed between the provincial level and the foreign party to serve the overall situation of the country and the needs of local economic development.

The scholarship for outstanding Students refers to the scholarship for outstanding students selected by colleges and universities in accordance with the quota allocated each year.

Special scholarship refers to the long-term and short-term project scholarship established by the provincial Department of Education according to the educational needs of foreign students.

Agreement scholarship, Outstanding Student Scholarship and special Scholarship can be accepted simultaneously.

Scholarship criteria, content and disbursement method

(I) Agreement scholarship

1. Funding criteria: 40,000 YUAN/student/year for junior college students, 3 years; For undergraduates, 50000 YUAN/student/year, the subsidy period is 4 years; 70,000 YUAN/student/year for master students, funding period 2-3 years; RMB 90,000 / student/year for PhD students, funding period 3-4Years; 2000 Yuan/student/month for visiting students/exchange students, the funding period is 1-12 months.

2. Funding Content:

Tuition fees refer to expenses related to teaching, internship, practice, cultural experience and cultural and sports activities of foreign students according to the teaching plan. To be used by the scholarship institution. The university shall organize public welfare activities, cultural experience, social practice and cultural and sports activities for scholarship students at least 10% of the total tuition fee.

Accommodation expenses refer to the accommodation expenses subsidized to foreign students. Accommodation will be provided by the scholarship institution and the accommodation fee will be used by the scholarship institution.

The basic living expenses refer to the daily living expenses of overseas students, which are 15,000 yuan/student/year for junior college students and undergraduates, 25,000 yuan/student/year for master's students and 30,000 yuan/student/year for doctoral students. The scholarship will be provided to scholarship students on a regular basis or in a lump sum.

Comprehensive medical insurance refers to the group comprehensive medical insurance purchased for international students. Purchase by scholarship institutions.

3. Method of disbursement: Within the academic year, the scholarship institution shall be disbursed annually according to the award standard or the amount agreed in the agreement.

(2) Scholarship for Outstanding Students

1. Funding criteria: 10000 Yuan/student for junior college students; 18000 RMB/student for undergraduates;30000 yuan/student for postgraduates.

2. Funding content: one or more of the agreed scholarships.

3. Method of disbursement: The scholarship institution shall disburse the scholarship to the winning student in a lump sum according to the award standard.

 

(3) Special scholarships

The funding standard and content of the special scholarship are determined according to the requirements of each special project. The scholarship institution will allocate the scholarship according to the funding standard, and the scholarship institution will choose to use the scholarship as a whole or distribute it to the project students according to the requirements of the project.

The provincial Finance Department and the Provincial Education Department will adjust the scholarship criteria dynamically by taking into account the training costs and living needs of international students.
