Faculty of Economics and Management

The Faculty of Economics and Management grew out of the Economics and Management subject which was established in the year 1981. The school established the Department of Economics and Trade in September 2002, then upgrade it to the Faculty of Economics and Management in May 2012. Over the past 30 years, the Faculty of Economics and Management has followed the education policy of "taking students as the main body, taking service as the purpose and taking employment as the guide" and adhere to the concept of "all-round and moral education come first", and has trained tens of thousands of management professionals in all works of life for Jiangsu Province. The faculty has totally 61 full-time (part-time) teachers. Nearly 80% of them are teachers with both teaching and professional qualifications. 6 of them have obtained the international vocational qualification of City & Guilds in the UK. The faculty successfully obtained the qualification of "1+X" certificate system experimental unit of the first batch of the Ministry of Education with Logistics Management subject and Accounting subject. Also, the faculty has the 3+2 Tourism Management subject that cultivate students in cooperation with Taizhou University, Chain-store Operations and Management (Jiangsu Provincial High-level Backbone Subject), and Property Management (School-level Key Subject).
