Faculty of International Education

The Faculty of International Education of Suzhou Polytechnic Institute of Agriculture has more than 70 full-time and part-time teachers, including 3 foreign teachers and 13 teachers with senior titles or above. 95% of the teachers have obtained or are studying for master's degree. More than 30 of the teachers have been to colleges and universities in different countries, such as the United States, Japan, Canada, France, Italy, Korea, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, Australia and the Netherlands for further study.

At present, the Faculty of International Education has four teaching and research offices, namely, Business English, Business Japanese, Business Management and Public English. The faculty currently has five subjects, namely, Business English, Business Japanese, Secretary for Legal Affairs, Cabin Crew, and Exhibition Planning and Management.

The Faculty of International Education adheres to the school running philosophy of "establishing the faculty with quality, promoting the faculty through scientific research, managing the faculty according to law, and strengthening the faculty with characteristics" and has now established more than 60 internship bases at home and abroad.

The Faculty of International Education focuses on cultivating students' practical ability and innovative spirit, organizing teachers and students to participate in various skills competitions at all levels. Many students and teachers have won multiples prizes of the first and second classes.

The Faculty of International Education has established friendly and cooperative relations with schools in Japan, the United States, Italy and many other countries. The faculty has actively explored new forms and ways of foreign exchange and learning for teachers and students. The faculty has established International Student Management Center, which is in charge of the daily management and the Chinese course teaching of 33 international students from six different countries, namely, Indonesia, Laos, Côte d'Ivoire, Congo, Lesotho and Tajikistan.
