On the afternoon of May 6, 2019, Director Shen Yue of the Division of European and African Affairs of the Suzhou Foreign Affairs Office and Hua Jia, with the company of Deputy Secretary Zhang Xiaoning of the General Party Branch of the Faculty of International Education, came to see the three students from Pointe-Noire, the Republic of Congo registered in our institute and inquired about their studies, life and mental status here.

During the visit, Director Shen Yue and Hua Jia asked about the Chinese learning of the international students, affirmed their learning attitude and understood their bottlenecks of learning, made in-depth discussion with Secretary Zhang and the class teacher of the international students, looked for solutions to their problems and encouraged the three international students not to relax their mind but to look for a way out in action. Next, to further enhance the pairing degree and improve the Chinese listening, writing and speaking abilities of the international students, the institute would buy Chinese-English dictionaries for them and make it a rule that they should self-study in the evening with the pairing classmates so that they could pass the HSK Level 3 early and lay a linguistic foundation for their specialized learning in the next six months of the year.
