To actively implement the government’s spirit of stimulating the universities and enterprises to jointly fuel the development of modern agriculture and forestry, respond to the “Belt and Road” Initiative, serve the enterprises of Jiangsu implementing the “going global” policy, expand international exchanges and cooperation and reserve more talents of agriculture in the countries and regions along the “Belt and Road”, on the afternoon of April 30, our institute and Jiangsu Ketapang Agriculture and Forestry Eco-Industrial Park Construction and Development Co., Ltd. jointly negotiated the issues on establishing the Indonesia-Suzhou Polytechnic Institute of Agriculture in Meeting Room 802 with the attendance of General Manager Yu Xueyuan of the Company, Honorary President Wang Jiexian of the Indonesia-Suzhou Polytechnic Institute of Agriculture, President Fu Bing of the institute, Vice President Kong Tingting and the leader in charge of the Office of Foreign Exchanges.

At the meeting, President Fu showed warm welcome to the delegation of Manager Yu, affirmed the achievements of cooperation of the two sides in implementing the “going global” policy and expressed his hopes of further promoting the construction of the Indonesia-Suzhou Polytechnic Institute of Agriculture. Manager Yu reported on the infrastructural construction plan of the Indonesia-Suzhou Polytechnic Institute of Agriculture and exchanged views with the institute about the problems in promoting the program for the time being.
