Teachers’ training on German dual vocational education successfully completed

To facilitate expansion of the institute’s international exchanges and cooperation on various levels, and to introduce international advanced management concepts and systems, teachers’ training on German dual vocational education was held on September 6-9, 2022. It was organized by the Foreign affairs office of the institute and its secondary colleges, led by institute’s management and personnel office, and successfully held at the International Exchange Center.


The training course was conducted by Herbert Schneiger, Vice President of F+U Education Group and Head of Vocational Training and International Affairs, and Luz Jaeger, Head of Communication and Management at IBA International Vocational College, along with other German experts. The training lasted four days, with the total duration of 28 hours, and 60 teachers from 8 secondary colleges of the institute completed the training.


German dual vocational education model is renowned all over the world, and its experience and practices attract the interest of many countries. The training organized at the institute focused on the dual vocational education system and structure, its methodology and teaching process. The contents also covered the dimensions of teaching philosophy, action-oriented teaching, mixed mode of instruction, practical training methods, and more. The aim of the training was to assist teachers at the institute in mastering the dual vocational education model and its professional instruction methods.


This systematic training course is part of the institute’s ongoing efforts to promote the localization of the German dual vocational education model, to actively introduce advanced concepts into work practice, and to accumulate valuable experience for updating teaching methods and facilitating internationalization of relevant fields of study.
