2018年4月环境工程学院教师宣雄智主持的“2018苏州市科技计划项目——海藻对翘嘴红鲌的营养生理效应研究”取得阶段性研究成果，并与河南省农业科学院畜牧兽医研究所助理研究员李文嘉博士，环境工程学院副院长朱文婷博士和汕头大学副教授王树启博士共同在SCI杂志《Journal of Applied Phycology》上发表了题为《Effects of different levels of macro-algae Gracilaria lemaneiformis on growth performance and nutritional status on the Red sea bream, Pagrosomus major》的论文。
