Leaders from the Government of Pointe-Noire, the Republic of Congo Came to Our Institute to Visit International Students

On September 9, a delegation headed by Louis Gabriel MISSATOU, Deputy Mayor of Pointe-Noire, Republic of Congo, and Christian TCHICAYA, Cooperation Commissioner of the Mayor's Office, accompanied by Zhang Naidong, Deputy Researcher of the Foreign Affairs Office of Suzhou Municipal People's Government, came to our institute to visit the international students from Pointe-Noire. President Fu Bing, Vice President Kong Tingting and heads of relevant departments warmly received the delegation.

At the meeting, President Fu Bing extended his welcome to the delegation headed by Deputy Mayor MISSATOU, reviewed the cooperation and exchanges between our institute and the City Government of Pointe-Noire in recent years, and introduced the development of the institute in recent years. Deputy Mayor MISSATOU introduced the sister city cooperation between Pointe-Noire and Suzhou, and expressed his sincere gratitude to the institute for its work in cultivating international students from Pointe-Noire on behalf of the government of Pointe-Noire. Afterwards, Vice President Kong Tingting, on behalf of the institute, made a phased summary of the training of international students in Pointe-Noire, Republic of Congo in the first academic year, and introduced the training plan for the next stage. At the meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth communication and exchanges on the talent training process.

After the meeting, the delegation headed by Deputy Mayor MISSATOU, accompanied by relevant personnel from the office and the Faculty of International Education, visited the campus, visited the international student dormitory, and visited the international students from Pointe-Noire.
